My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying in this lovely recreational property twice now.
Once in early fall, and then the end of December. We found the cabin to be very well equipped. Always nice to have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, TV, internet and a fully furnished cabin. The beds were comfortable and the linens fresh. Nice bathrooms and soaker tubs. We Are looking forward to staying at "the Nest" again in the future.

K & G Willis

"The Nest" is an attractive, quiet spot an easy 30 minute drive from Fernie. With plenty of privacy and parking, it features a wall of windows that brings the forest and lake view indoors. It was clean and tidy, equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Comfy beds, great kitchen, bathrooms and loft area that can accommodate a larger group. Large deck off the kitchen with barbecue, also a fire pit out in front. Nice for walks, a great get away! We look forward to our return.

M & M McKay

"The Nest" was spacious and well equipped, from the large kitchen to the two & a half bathrooms, it accommodated 8 ladies comfortably. It was nice having coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon on the large deck overlooking the pond. We went for walks around the area; to Baynes Lake and then relaxed in the loft watching old movies using the Netflix. A great time was enjoyed by all. Hoping to visit "the Nest" soon!

It was a wonderful getaway!

I stayed at “the Nest” with 7 girlfriends for a Girls Getaway weekend in October. We enjoyed puzzle building on the deck, a scavenger hunt in the woods, a hot dog roast around the fire pit and had a great time hiking along the shore of Koocanusa. The house is very large and had everything and anything needed for preparing and accommodating a sit down dinner for our group as well as plenty of seating for visiting and for watching movies in the loft in the evening. The beds were comfortable – the decor and ambiance lovely – I highly recommend it!

Nothing short of amazing. This place was everything we asked for and then some. Very clean, kitchen well stocked, communication was very fast. It was very close to Lake Koocanusa where we spent all of our days. The deck overlooking the pond was a nice touch. We have already rebooked.

Jonathan

We really enjoyed our stay! We will be back next year.
